The Programme.

The Gig Atelier is a hands-on mentoring programme for musicians, producers and sound artists who want to develop their live performance practice. Conducted in English, the programme offers personalised mentoring through which participants gain practical and technical skills to shape and refine their own live set and on-stage presence.

The programme focuses on workflow optimisation, live performance techniques, technical gear, software usage, stage setup and creative development. Your own artistic practice becomes the starting point for experimentation, refinement and growth.

Alongside individual development, participants discover different creative approaches, exchange methods and experiences, and connect with Berlin’s live music community through masterclasses, concerts and events. By the end of the programme, participants will perform live in a public showcase in Berlin alongside other artists, gaining real experience in a professional live environment.

Available in hybrid format in Berlin, and also online.

Your Creative Lab.

Inside the creative music space of Vaz Oliver, designed for creation, experimentation, idea sharing and strategic development through group sessions. Participants will also engage in hands-on practice using professional technical gear in collaboration with Castalian Spring Space.
